Work
First day of work today. Spent the morning in training, and roughly 5 hours on the phone in the afternoon. The company I'm working for has the main office in Houston, Texas, and they recently expanded to LA. So, in the LA office, it's just me, the regional VP, and the VP. The VP generally runs around meeting people so I will spend the bulk of the day with the regional VP and the phone. I guess I will have to learn to love the phone, hahaha.
Matthew left for the army last night. I'm starting to wonder whether this timing was planned somehow. I no longer have anyone to chat with, I now have the whole LA community to talk to on the phone (with slight exaggerations). Yeah, friend leaves, get a job to fill up the emptied time. Hah.
On another note, I still can't find my glasses. I'm getting by with my old ones and the sunglasses, but this is so dumb. The old glasses always fall off my nose, and the sunglasses are good only outdoors during the day. I know I lost them in the room, so I practically turned the room upside down looking for them. But... uneasy thoughts are slowly creeping up on me. What if I accidentally put them in together with the trash? The trash I threw away last weekend? NOOOOO! Those things are so expensive! And the glass frames were a gift from my sister. =(
So I shall go turn the room upside down again. Toodles~
