Trivial things

I must say, I have been completely ungrateful for a long time. Complaining so much about my job and money. Stressing about school. Worrying about these things that.. are so trivial, no matter how important, or even essential, they may seem.

Nothing is NEEDED, nothing is lacking if I have God in my life. But I have been so blinded by my "need" for these trivial things that I have stolen time from God.

Forgive me my pride, in thinking that I could solve all my problems, that I could provide for myself. Forgive me my self-centeredness, in thinking that I "need" more, when I have been blessed with so much I should need nothing less than to give. Forgive me my weak faith, in doubting Your good and perfect will for my life, that you will clothe and feed me as you do even the smallest of earth's creatures.

Thank You Lord, for Your patient kindness, for Your over-abounding love, for Your endless grace. Blessed be Your Holy Name.
