Back to School

First day of school today. Woke up around 7 am, Ma made me kim bab for lunch, left for school, got lost, found my way, barely got there by 8 am, took me almost half an hour to find parking, waited 2 hours to see a counselor (in the meantime went to financial aid office, got my student ID, registered for a speech class), didn't get into the class i wanted to (which sets me back a whole semester), tried to go to class early, got lost, found my way and went to class on time(first aid and CPR), lost my car, got lost, found my car, lost my keys, found my keys, ate the lunch Ma packed for me, came back home.

All this in maybe 7 hours. It was a fun day. The getting lost part was all right. It's not like I was in a hurry or anything. Tomorrow I think I'll go early, try to buy some books for my classes, try to add a night class, and see if I can get familiar with the campus so I won't get lost when it matters. Dang, if I have my way, I might have classes from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Hmm, night classes. Should be interesting.

I do believe most of the people there are at least 3 or 4 years younger than me, but seriously, I can't tell. Man, am I bad with ages, or what?

Oh, my sis just told me, "we're going to a musical this Saturday". Just like that. Of course I'll go, and of course I don't have plans. Which makes me kind of sad. I would like to get a life... haha.

We saw Princess Diaries 2 yesterday. It was a 9:55 pm showing, so we ended up getting home around 1:30 am. I was thinking to myself, "oh, I better wake up tomorrow. I have school!" The movie was ok. Princess Mia was too irresponsible and rather immature for a princess, and the scandals were not made into the big deal that they should've been realistically speaking, but all in all it was very cute. I bet filming it was fun. All those awesome dresses! Aye, I am a girl, after all.

So yeah. New day, new start. Ain't life dandy?
